Well we have plenty of settlers in production in Boreum but Octavia's point is likely to need a temple in the future. Basically we need to decide whether these cities should continue to be used for settler production or something else.

    Mordhiemia building caravan, no temple
Marl Downs Building settler, has temple
Neuma building caravan, no temple but it is closer to the capital
Octavia's point building settler, no temple
    Eboracum building temple.

Note: the filler issue is included in Gary's poll so you wont see it in the poll.

Note 2: Feel free to vote for sveral options in category A.

I need more info to decide (for example will Neuma grow soon and need a temple?). I'll try to look at the game tonight and vote tomorrow.

We should try for a balance in building things overall, but
given the Viking situation, military should be given a bit
    of a priority.

I'd like to concentrate on caravans (wonders + trade) and military (war + crowd control), with caravans first and foremost and only enough military to meed needs. We have so many black dudes that we'll need military anyway for happiness until Mike's (i.e., we don't need temples now).

I'd REALLY like to get NUF prepared for Republic. That requires bigger cities, wonders, trade routes, & some marketplaces at least so the lux rate can do us some good. It seems so far off ... :(

Regarding the wars, if we can bribe cities on foreign shores and set up heavy defense there, that should distract the AI long enough for us to build up some infrastructure.

I'm a bit frustrated at the deliberate slow population growth and so few trade routes to Elysium or RC. I'm worried about falling behind the Indians - the only good news so far is that we're grabbing the key wonders.

Population + trade arrows = POWER.

Neuma: Caravan 38/50 in 4, grows in 21.
Recommend change to Legion in 1 !

Regarding Temples, Count Goldberg is preparing a report on the 4 new celebrations. LC celebrates without a Temple. We can start the Elysium Market in 2 turns.

MonkE, sir. The Large AI Cities are good publicity, nothing more. NUF is again #1 Population, Manufacturing, Land Area and Productivity.

To prepare for Republic, we must carefully arrange the city supports of our war units. Examples: Civvium already supports one Trireme, MT Archer is in LC ok, LC Archers are on Mtn Patrol ok, CJ seems overloaded, The Udal and Roskilde are problems. Numerous cities could accept responsibility for one war unit: Elysium, TFalls and BFL to name a few.

Once we build Mike's and learn of Republic, oedo will take us there, then Luxuries will nearly double our serfs in 5-7 turns.

Btw, we need to keep pushing cities up to Size=3 for the Celebration of Republic to work. That means a Temple, or another Warrior, or even a Legion. Better, an Elephant here and there. Maybe we have enough Temples. I have been choosing cities based upon proximity to REGIA CIVITAS for Temples.

Next growth targets: Neuma and Monks Towne.
Neuma: Legion in 1, then Caravan, then Temple or Elephant.
Monks Towne: prefer Settler, but then grow to Size=3 somehow.

Edit: I also voted for the OP Temple. It'll have 2 Settlers.
A: Caravans should be the priority
B: OP should build a temple AND: We don't need more temples
C: No more triremes! Other provinces can build them
D: Try and build a mixture

So it seems the people want a mixture of mainly military and caravans to be produced although its possible that Marl Downs or another city could start building city improvements.

OP should build a temple but there is less support for any more temples. If neccessary another trireme could be built but the people seem to want trirmemes built elsewhere or not at all.
