The jaguar and workboat went exploring, giving me the circumnavigation bonus in 3000 BC. Thanks for that gift!

In the pregame discussion, someone mentioned using the jaguar for worker stealing, so I decided to try that against Stalin. But the jaguar wasn't near his territory yet, so I started by killing his scout. Then I found a barb city built between his peninsula and the hub, so I attacked the three warriors guarding that. I had to wait for some healing after the first attack, but then the jag completed the job in 1360 and I made a huge mistake: instead of razing Burgundian, I kept it. The high maintenance cost immediately dragged down my economy and research, and I ended up watching the AI beat me to the Oracle, GLH and COL/Confucianism. I saw a stack of Russian units approaching, so I made peace in 700 BC, without ever having stolen any workers, as was my original objective.

Two goody huts claimed so far. One gave me a map, the other gave me experience for my scout.
