No... no keshiks...no victory

At 1ad I have 9 cities and I am about to hunker down for a culture VC.... map/Civ counter intuitive, but what I felt like when starting.
I have 'Mids and Oracle (CS) and all is well. Just trying to connect my empire to the others for the TR's

I showed up to Babylon with 3 Chariots (and a warrior), thinking that would be plenty against warriors... but no, it was defended by 2 bowmen and a warrior. Totally arsed it, at super low odds to win. All I can say if you are reading this before playing (very naughty ) then make sure you take Babylon, its an awesome city
