I'm not OSS and I'm not Silu, but I am in!! This should be interesting...

Will it be better to take the Challenger save for the faster tech pace, or the normal save for the higher happy cap and lower expenses?

Excuse me, but the Mac saves seem to be missing.

I like to get a coal or oil so I can build railroads, which give an extra hammer on lumbermills, mines and quarry, yes?

Shouldn't take too long to RR these tiles, then trade it away....

Ah, sorry, you're right. I'm so used to BtS not having Mac saves that I forgot to make the necessary arrangements to enable Alan (the staff member who has a Mac) to do the Mac saves. Will get that sorted soon (though it won't be until this evening when I get home from work).

I think I am going to try for a French domination victory, as I am intrigued by the taunt that you can't do that.

Not sure of the ins and outs of this, but I always take the Contender start (regardless of the game's difficulty level), cause I'm a middling player.

As a middling player myself, I usually take whatever save seems like it will be funnest to play. I think it will be Prince level; and I think I'm going to wonder-spam. Just for the heck of it, not for culture. :)

Moderator Action: Posts relating to problems with MacBUFFY in the Mac Steam version of BtS have been moved to the MacBUFFY thread here, as they are not specific to BOTM31, and are only of interest to Mac Steam players.

Now, you know that is not innovative, right?

(Thanks to that Churchill guy of yours ... )

Hmm... Maybe, maybe not :) might be a bad deal for me if the fastest winner buys the beers :mischief:

Plus I might have gotten a cooldown for culture games from the last WOTM :D

I thought it would be better to set it up that way since then I have absolutely no chance of buying the beers! :D

Maybe if I interpret the "fastest win" as time played instead of the win date

I can't remember the last GOTM I played. I know it was a GOTM because I haven't played one since I bought myself a copy of BtS. Time to blow the cobwebs off I think. I shouldn't strain anything playing Germany at Noble. :D

Leif, are you saying we might not be Germany and the game might not be at Noble? :mischief:
