Why do you care?
Which is one problem.

Also, the close button doesn't seem to be there.

Is there something I'm missing?

For the record: I have a brand-new 13.3' MacBook Pro.

I've always had this problem as well on a 15" MacBook Pro. ESC gets you out of the screen, but it'd be much better if the Civilopedia were appropriately sized.

I've always had this problem and I've been playing Civ5 on Mac OS for over a year now. I updated to G&K too and this issue hasn't been addressed yet. Nobody cares about this? Really?
Also the strategic resources info text in green on the top bar overlaps with the game info text in white (turn, year, etc.). Has this issue been reported?
I'm playing on a MBP 13" with Intel Core i7 2.9, 8GB RAM and integrated Intel HD4000 graphic card, which means i get to enjoy the "black crawly things" in diplo screen  (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=469444)
Does anyone know if there will be a solution for this in the next patches? Any ETA?
Thanks!
