I recently picked up Colonization and I have had a number of issues with the game locking up and occassionally going to a BSOD. I have a NVIDIA GTS8800 with updated drivers. I also updated the drivers on the sound card as well. One time when it crashed it gave me an error in APCI.sys.
However, the majority of the time that I get a BSOD it is due to a DPC routine and it says to go to the BIOS and disable caching and/or shadowing.
Any ideas of what it could be and how to solve it?
