Been playing civ4 once a week with 3 other people and we noticed a new patch out. After we all installed we loaded our game to continue and promptly got out of sync. So far we're unable to figure out how to fix this. Preferably we'd like to fix it without having to reinstall our games as we're all in various stages of missing/broken cds, so a reinstall would be a pain to have to move comps/cds around in order to install legally (without torrenting game):
DKATyler: BtS
Caden: original, Warlords
Milk: original, BtS
NuRB: warlords

OOS occurs either at game start or if we load a previous game, as soon as we all end turn.

Details (using game names):
Nurb & Milk same OOS value (can play together without OOS)
DKATyler & Caden same OOS value (can play together without OOS)

Patch Install:
Nurb & Caden via in-game patcher
DKATyler & Milk via www.firaxis.com

network (we play via hamachi):
Nurb & Milk on same lan network (can connect via lan OR direct ip)
Caden on a different network connecting via direct ip using hamachi
DKATyler on a different network connecting via direct ip using hamachi

Gamespy:
Only DKATyler can not log-on (probably due to campus firewall and unrelated).

I'm also getting an OOS error, but I'm out of town right now.

Both of us have patched to 3.13 and are playing BtS on LAN multiplayer.

I'll try using Bhuric's program when I get home.

I have a similar OOS error that tells me that I'm always out of sync. All of my friends have the same patch, but it's me with the out of syncage that's preventing us from playing.

there are some reports on how the oos can be solved for a lot of people:
1) disable Random Events
or
2) try this:
Everyone of us deleted their

"C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\My Games\Beyond the Sword"

folder, which resets your profile as described a few posts earlier. It might be enough to delete the

"C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\My Games\Beyond the Sword\cache"

folder, so you could give that a try first.

I was able to fix the OOS error by uninstalling BTS on both computers (LAN multiplayer).

I then deleted the bts folder in my "civ4" main folder as well as the BTS folder in "My Games" main folder.

I then reinstalled BTS on both computers.

Next, I installed the 3.13 patch.

Finally, I threw in Bhuric's unofficial patch.

ZERO OOS errors since.
