BTS over Civ Chronicles install problem

I am trying to help out what looks like a new forum member who can't get BTS to install over vanilla civ that he has via Civ Chronicles. He's posted in the tech support area at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=13258851#post13258851

If anyone here has some insights, join us in that discussion over there please. I figure all the smart guys hang out here in GOTM, so I figure a note here will get us some expertise.
