BTS question

So, I haven't played civ IV in a while. So when I started thinking of getting my self addicted again I noticed there were 2 expansion packs. My question is does BTS contain Warlord's civilizations too? Also, how many civilizations can you have playing in one game? Sorry for the newbie questions...

P.S. Also thinking I shouldn't start playing since I need to be studying for the GRE.

BtS contains everything from Warlords except the scenarios. This means that all rule changes (vassals, great generals, unique buildings, etc.) and all civilizations and leaders from Warlords are included.

I have the same question. Haven't played Civ for over a year now and suddenly I've noticed the expansion and the addiction just got back

I do have Civ 4, but don't have Warlords... if it is true that BtS doesn't need Warlords, I'm not planning to buy it. I can live without the scenario's... if all units/civs/rules etc from Warlords are included in BtS, the choice is easy. I hope you are 100% sure of this

ALL WARLORDS CONTENT IS INCLUDED IN BTS!!!!

all except scenerios. So there's no use in buying Warlords.

And you can only have 18 civs in the game at ounce. YOU CAN HOWEVER downlaod a new DDS (or was it DSS? ) and you can have more civs in the game.
