What the heck is going on? :( I know, it's all a big joke on the rest of us! :crazyeye:

Whoa!! I didn't know you could liberate a city (ie, give a city to your vassal)

Watiggi- Thanks for the all the info... Anything on the Favorite Religion supposed implication? And what about unique city styles? or is there just unique units? Thanks in adavance...

"Bombarding now reduces city defense by a fixed amount, rather than a percentage"

Maybe Chichen Itza will be mildly useful now.

Great posts on game change details Watiggi :goodjob:

O, woodsman 3 doesnt grant 2 first strikes, as other ppl had mentioned, but grants an additional 15% healing only on same tile. Now a medic 3 and woodsman 3 explorer = 40% healing!

Holy mackerel, I might actually consider building jails!
+4 espionage points, +50% espionage, +2 spy specialists

Thanks for the info, will get my copy on Friday. Any possibility of a screen shot of the Civilopedia info for Flank attacks.

Anything new on forts?

Ok. In the gameplay section of the BtS rules screenshot (forgot which one it is, towards the bottom), it says (not an exact quote, but it's in the screen shot) "Selecting the "Choose Religions" option will then let you choose a religion when you discover a religion founding tech".

Definitely unique units. Not sure about unique buildings. I haven't played it yet - just the civilopedia.

EDIT: Added custom game screenshot, which shows the choose religions option.

Phalanx now replaces the Axemen?! That is wrong in so many ways...

How are you going to beat the Phalanx now? Axemen will have trouble with a massive Greek pillaging stack, and you can't use chariots to soften them up. Only one unit can halt them now...

I guess it'll be up to Rome to liberate the Western world from the tyranny of the Greeks. :D

Thanks for info :goodjob:

Woodsman 3, excellent promotion, actually a terrain based attacking promotion at last.
