[BTS] SpaceShip Mod

    I always liked making the space race tougher. I cheated a bit on this one. I added three SS parts (SS Navigation Array, SS Computer Core and SS Warp Drive) by renaming some casing parts. The remaining casing parts build on top of each other. I also added a Mission to Mars project as requirement for the new parts.

    Known Issue: After you launch and the camera switches back to world view, if look closely, you can see the gantry lights follow the spaceship. I haven't figured this one out, yet.

    Good work, btw, you ever think of adding extra parts with their own graphics? It might be possible...:hmm:

    I've thought about it. I might look into it once I get my main mod to my liking. I'm really a noob when it comes to graphics.:blush:

    Well, I'm pretty good with graphics. And there are many other modders that can help with graphics on the forum. You can PM me if your interested. :D

    bmarnz, if I understand you correctly you used double graphics of existing space ship graphics for your new space ship parts, but were able to leave the old number requirement for the existing space parts? (like 5 for hull casing for instance)

    Yes, I kept the old requirements:
    nav array = casing 1
    comp core = casing 2
    casing 1 = casing 3
    casing 2 = casing 3
    casing 3 = casing 4
    casing 4 = casing 4
    casing 5 = casing 5
    warp drive rebuilds engine 2:crazyeye:

    This is actually not very hard to do as long as you don't mind no animation when you add one of these new parts to the spaceship.
