[BtS]Tech Tree Editor

Good news, most of the hard work is done for the BtS version of the Tech Tree Editor

Here is what is left to be done:
1) Add support for the EventInfo and EventTriggerInfo objects
2) Update the actual tech tree editor window with new values available in BtS (Advanced start cost, advanced start cost increase and IsRiverTrade
3) Verify that all of the asset XML file writers work correctly and continue to write out files like they are supposed to.

I will need one or two testers to help me out with testing... (Aussie I am looking in your direction since you were one of the original testers)
... Any volunteers?
 
I am willing to test it, but it's 11PM here (so almost midnight) and I'm going to bed. If you still need testers tomorrow, I can help.

Testing won't happen until Sunday at the earliest... I finally got a chance to kick off BtS with the Tech Tree Editor mod including the new DLL and things are not looking good... we will see.
 
Ahhh are you the modder that had the original Tech Tree editor? I tried that when I first started modding, but it didn't work (because I had BtS) and had to learn the hard way.

Looks very cool.

As far as I know yes :lol:
 
Great news everyone! I got the tech tree editor to actually pop up in game in BtS with techs showing... now I have to get the rest of the functionality to work :D
 
Another update. I'm starting to see some life out of the Tech Tree Editor and some issues that are requiring some rewriting some of the file writing code die to some string width issues.
 
Sorry to necro this thread, but I keep getting errors when attempting to extract the files, I tried to put them in mods/tech tree editor but it keeps saying it can't find the pathway for any of the files? What am I doing wrong here? TIA
