When you ignore someone that posters messages only show "this poster is on your ignore list. click to show blablah". For buddy list i don't know, i'm not that social

Nah, CFC has a number of posters that are generally worthless. If someone don't care to mock worthless posters, then he has no real reason to see their posts and ignoring is a handy thing.
