Bug/Crash Reports for V45 Beta & SVN July 2025

I keep telling everyone that 99% of their "unique personal errors" cases are simply bad updates or installations. Cue it being "unique to them", ya know.
 
@strategyonly also find the cache file for BTS and clear it out as well. Should be under Users/Locals?. May have to dig for it.

Many forget that there is also a cache file for BTS that needs emptied from time to time, Under Users. Have to dig for it as I don't have the path written down anymore. :P

Driftwood Gatherer and Lumber Gatherer do not give free buildings in every city. Village Hall does not provide a free specialist.

What version are u playing? As these u mentioned have been changed recently.

Edit: Also, the capital's Education seems to be counting backwards. Like, the count is +270, but the effect seems to be at -270, having the capital at Foolish, lol. Other cities are alright.

Post your save game & I will see if I can get a modder on Discord to come look at it. No Promises though!

SVN 11659 - Building filtering now only shows the pure gold (round symbol) providing buildings, but not the profit gold (heap of coins symbol) providing buildings. This started happening after the last update. Compare Thieves' Hideout and Hatter.

"Potential" -vs- "Actual" effects of buildings had been bug-ish for a long while now.
But as of your point, go and read the SVN update text again.
There've been made a huge change to a lot of buildings, precisely in the "Gold" -vs- "Commerce" sense that you mentioned.
I literally just closed the game before checking here, so I don't want to restart it again to look into it, but I pretty sure that this is the thing you refer to.

Yes, and there is no filter for Commerce right now. And this is very much needed due to the new Gold balance, I can barely support the 6 cities on the Chiefdom level by slider balancing. Not to say this balance bad, yet, just a new paradigm needs a new reaction. And the tool isn't there.

LOOOL!!! I actually went and checked it closely, and it's FUNNY.
Not sure how it worked previously, but NOW it literally CONVERTS Commerce into the CURRENT rate of Gold/Research/Culture/Espionage.
So, a building with a "basic" Commerce stat will (or at least should) show the RESULTING stats according to your management percentages.
"+1 Commerce" thus will SHOW UP as "+0.50 Research / +0.25 Culture / +0.25 Espionage", if you have THAT as your CURRENT setting (50/25/25), loool.
Commerce had been literally coded OUT, lol.
Can't say whether I like it or not, but it sure is a FUNNY mechanic, at least to me.
 
Too many Mining resources spawn on peaks. The feeling is about 50/50.
If the map you play will let you adjust % peak vs hills lower the peak %.
 
Old minor bug: once you'r trying to atack enemy on the same title, your unit gets some small exp. You can then cancel the atack and repeat it (with the same additional exp bonus). And again. And again...
