[BUG] Endless Research Agreement /Research Agreements and War/treaties bugging out

I did hear already about the ever lasting peace bug, however something similar just happened to me in a game: Had 2 research agreements bugging out.
After the 30 turns i didnt get a popup, no new tech, and they are listed under the completed deals tab. If i try to make a new treaty in the diplomacy leaderhead window, the research deal is greyed out, and the mouse over says that one is already in place.

The save was made before the patch which i downloaded with steam ~1 hour ago and includes "Deal expiration fixes".
Restarted steam twice since to make sure the patch does get applied, no clue though if it is since i got no message about it. Anyways, if i load the save now the error still occours, so either this bug isnt fixed yet, the fix is only for new games or the patch isnt applied yet.

I'm playing MP with a buddy and we signed an agreement 121 turns ago. The agreement NEVER ends. We can't sign a new one because it says an old one is still active. How do we fix this?

I've had several instances where I signed a research agreement and then entered into a war with the party with whom I signed the agreement. After the war declaration (them declaring war on me) I get the tech from the agreement.

I was under the impression that war with the other party in the agreement was supposed to cancel this agreement and cause loss of funds, so I'm guessing this is a bug.

I've never been to war with him, so why was my thread merged? I never have been at war period, actually. We're playing cooperatively. :X

Because the first agreement would probably not have been canceled if they were not at war.
There was a BIG bug with agreements never ending, no matter what happend else.
The current patch should adress this.

I was playing on the new patch 1.0.0.20 yesterday. Twice I declare war on a Civ that I had a research agreement with. Both times I got a tech and research agreement completed message. (No comment on why I managed to do it not once but twice. )
