Bug? Not getting Manes as Infernals

I took over the 5 cities of the Khazad after I switched over from them and got no manes anywhere. Of course all their cities had AV and their alignment was evil. I've taken two cities from the (svaltafar?) evil elves and still no manes. Whats up?

Did you take the cities, or burn them to the ground? You don't get manes for cities you capture, just the ones you raze.

ok. Well I took most, but I burned one from the svalfartafar, no luck.

I've been killing evil units and destroying evil cities. No manes either

i got some manes for razing cities, none for defeating evil units though. would make my planned huge deity game with hyborem (thanks to flexible difficulty) a lot harder.

I checked the python and I think it only gives manes for killing units if they follow evil religions (AV OO CoE) or if they have either death I or entropy I. I really wish I got them from evil civ units and barbarians.
