Bug reports and technical issues

Re: *ini anomaly

If so, would it be necessary to tell all beta-testers to write-protect their *ini so no python exception will be missed? ._. Based on my observation, I think it reset after 4-5 times opening and closing Civ IV?

Sorry not to provide a save (without which you can probably not do a lot) but indie Funchal grew to size 50 in one of my games.

Best capital ever?

In all seriousness though, is that supposed to happen?

As long as the new capital is on a historical tile, no.

The main branches of the Crimean economy are tourism and agriculture. Industrial plants are situated for the most part in the northern regions of the republic. Important industrial cities include Dzhankoy, housing a major railway connection, Krasnoperekopsk and Armyansk, among others.
The most important industries in Crimea include food production, chemical fields, mechanical engineering and metal working, and fuel production industries. Sixty percent of the industry market belongs to food production. There are a total of 291 large industrial enterprises and 1002 small business enterprises.
The main branches of vegetation production in the region include cereals, vegetable-growing, gardening, and wine-making, particularly in the Yalta and Massandra regions. Other agricultural forms include cattle breeding, poultry keeping, and sheep breeding. Other products produced on the Crimea Peninsula include salt, porphyry, limestone, and ironstone (found around Kerch).

I bold the resources that is possible to be represented in DoC.

They start without settlers.

When playing as the Turks, I usually reload until I can get Constantinople as my capital city immediately.

Do you want to see a useless city at 1 tile distance from Constantinople?

what was causing the "peru has made peace with peru" bug? I have the same bug and my workaround is less than satisfactory.

I tried to find the reason for this a number of times but without success.

Suppressing those messages is probably the best solution because it doesn't have any ill effects.

Indy #1 became a technology monster. He can research anything at a cost of 1 turn.

I found if I used the long names it would cause the bug but the short names work fine. I'd still like to fix it though.

Good luck working it, what with water and plains farms being your food sources.

You could farm that grassland to the NW. And you get two free food from the city tile.

What more do you want? :p
