Bug Reports and Technical Issues

My game just crush while I run into next turn.It is America AD-1948
Not for me. It's possible that recent fixes address your issue.

You have to get Varietas Delectat from github for now, the Welcome to DoC thread has more details.

I discovered Mesoamerica after the Toltecs had just collapsed and it was held by natives. This caused ten units of conquerors to spawn – but I immediately got a message saying they'd been expelled from native territory and withdrawn to [city on the other side of the Pacific]. Here's a save that should allow for easy reproduction: just move the nearest explorer south for one or two turns.
Doesn't reproduce for me, sorry. I get the conquerors and can take Tollan without issues.

Going into the Late-Inca period in the Renaissance removes your UP entirely. A well-known bug if I believe the code, it has been solved once already ; PERIOD_LATE_INCA has not been updated when National France has been added. Might warrant using another way, to avoid babysitting that variable.

Or maybe just never expire the bonus — it's not clearly noted in-game that it does not apply to Peru (although you can never play as Peru)... but it's not as if Peru was such a powerhouse.

Is it possible to play the late game? My three attempts when I stayed for a few one more turns ended with crushes within 1956 and 2005. The latter was only achievable when I turned the congresses off.
I'm not sure if it's me or it's a general issue at this stage. The computer I'm using is a two months old gamer pc with rather strong hardware.

I am always able to play until the end of the game without crashes. Due to the age of the engine the game cannot really make use of the resources of your computer. I recommend keeping concurrent tasks to a minimum. RAM is the most important resource when it comes to crashes and even something like a browser can be surprisingly memory intensive.

It was the only thing running. Should I try with the default graphic settings? I changed the resolution and whatever was possible to set. Could they cause this?

Graphics settings are almost never the cause in my experience.

Could it be the thing that I use it through steam? I still have the original game discs somewhere at my parents' house if it makes any difference.

I couldn't see how, but I don't know enough to make an affirmative statement either way.

Korea game crashes playing the standard 1.18 install, I believe it might be caused to the Mongols collapsing? First CTD I've experienced playing DoC/1.18 (I've played multiple long smooth games in the Medieval era).

If you go 1-2 more turns in the game, you will see the CTD.

I'd ideally like to save this game, since I was close to beating the UHVs - please let me know if there is anymore information I can provide, or anything I can do. Thanks in advance!
Tested this with the new Github update, and it fixed the problem - and I finished the Korea UHVs! Thanks!

When the Mongols spawn, all culture north of these two cities was temporarily cleared from the map. That's expected. The thing which looks to me like a bug – 150 years later, these cities have still not reclaimed their third rings, even though each generates more than 100 culture per turn. The Rise of the Mongols buff has long worn off. It looks to me like this must be related to the Mongol core, which I think encompasses the affected tiles but not the tile left of the rightmost horses, which Tongshan has reclaimed.

I know civilizations get a buff to claiming tiles in their cores, but here there are no Mongol cities to compete.

If either would be useful, I can provide a save from the year of the screenshot, or from shortly before the Mongol spawn.

Yeah those saves would be useful I think.
