Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Yeah, I think I can set the original owners for scenarios. Another thing that I noticed are religion founding dates.

I'll look into your save. And it's probably easiest to exclude buildings you cannot normally build from the wonder criteria.

Oh right, I have fixed it now. Did not consider the Cathedral found trigger.

Is it intended that protestantism doesn't have a holy city? Happens all the time on any development version using the new tech tree. Seems independent on who founds the religion: no holy city, no shrine possible.

If you have a save where Protestantism is founded next turn, I can investigate.

Is Harappa supposed to end your game when it collapses?

I also have a negative stability modifier from "bad foreign relations" even though I was only in contact with India and relations were at pleased with open borders.

Yeah, collapse is always game ending in DoC. Although I would like to add an option to switch to another existing civ at that point.

Bad foreign relation also includes a lack of relations overall.

That shouldn't be true in the early BC years. :gripe:

Also, another reason I collapsed was that my culture extended over foreign cores. Your UHV goals force me to build baths early on! Can you make it so that foreign cores can never border your own cores? (Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that core areas don't necessarily have to be foreign core areas for others.)

What tiles your culture covers has no influence on stability, only the locations of your cities.

Hi, I have some problem with the mode - the button "play now" is just inactive
Could someone help me?

It's supposed to be inactive - that's the button for a non-scenario, non-modded, vanilla game of BtS. To play with this mod, you need to use the "Play a Scenario" button.

How is your mod folder called? It is supposed to be "RFC Dawn of Civilization", located in the Beyond the Swords/Mods/ folder. Make sure your Beyond the Sword version is updated to 3.19, and if you are using the Steam version try the guide in the first post in this thread.

Yes, I am using the Steam, I followed all instructions on page 1. Version is 3.19 mod folder is called "RFC Dawn of Civilization" and it is stored in the right place. Still there are no scenarios :(

What if you try to double click the scenario files in the Private Maps folder?

A few minor issues:
-Building an Armory with a Great General triggers a blank movie.
-SAM Infantry no longer upgrades to Mobile SAM, is that intended?
-The Nuclear Bomber impacts the ground head first like if it were a missile, and the explosion doesn't show a nuclear mushroom. It's just an aesthetic thing, but doesn't the resource have a more suitable animation?

I'm playing a game switched from vikings to england, builld a few cities in england, that get subverted...

Building a city under london (birka) when you viking results in bug, with the city not being destroyed and england unable to build London and egts pushed out of the borders. Similar to older bugs like this I reported, was with babylon building a city near persia's spawn for example in the past. Seems to effect when a city is next to the spawn, as building london as viking, the city does get wrecked.

Founded protestantism as England; Protestantism holy city: None, Regardless if you embrace, tolerate or supress. There isn't a holy city appearing, not even next turn, is this intentional?

Also Vassalage is something wrong with, As it says you get cost even if you have less troops then it covers.

Two minor (almost inconsequential) things:
- I noticed that India doesn't have a flipzone, probably because it originally started playing at turn 0.

- The founding of Hinduism (Meditation) comes before Hindu temples are available (Priesthood), but after pagan temples are available (Mysticism) - which makes for an odd moment in between where Paganism is supposed to be obsolete, but I can still build temples in cities w/o Hinduism, while I can't build temples in the cities that do have the religion. Probably this only matters for the Harappans (which I'm playing now), but still thought I'd mention it.

Can you share saves with these situations? Especially one turn before founding Protestantism.

Ok, this is 1 turn before it gets founded, by inventing printing. I tried all three options and don't get an error message or anything.

Crap lost the one with the vikings founding 'london' but it is similar to a but I mentioned in the past, also comes with a lot of messages common to a new born nation unable to claim the lands around them.
