[BUG-reproducible] CTD when you move long distances using pathfinding in 1 turn

I've been editing the units.xml file a bit to be able to test the game a bit, and it's come to my attention that when you give scouts, say, 40 movement points, and then move them >10-15 hexagons at a time using the pathfinder, the game tends to crash quite often, esp. with distances of >20 hexes in a single move.
 
Update: it appears to happen most often reliably when an enemy unit is in the way of the path set out for my unit, but invisible due to LoS, as the game does not seem to update the path moved along if you move a large distance all at once. (as it moves the entire distance before drawing the movements themselves on the map.) This is of course unproblematic if all units only move small distances, but much less so with larger ones.
