Hi!
I've made a map in WB and want to use it for a new game (no mods active yet). It is a simple terra map, I just wanted to make sure that there are no big inland seas, because I started terra twice just to figure out I had no access to the ocean.
I can see my map among the other map scripts, both in the normal (advanced) game creation screen and in mods -> single player. I can select it and start a game with it, but when the narrator tells his initial speech the voice starts stuttering after a few seconds and vanishes. After that it keeps loading for several minutes (usually game creation takes about 1 min on my machine). I never tried longer than 10 min, but when I finally ALT-TAB out of the game Windows7 shows an unspecific error message ("Civ5 had to be quit after an error").
I tried deactivating my firewall both during map creation and ingame use.
What could be the error?
Do I have to assign starting positions manually? I just created the map using the terra script a few times and saved one that I liked.
