Bug? Took last capital and was defeated

WTF?! Defeated? I took every capital in the game. When I took the last one, it said I was defeated and doesnt even say why...

Is this a victory bug? Or... I have no idea...

I am not liking this new version of civ

Can you post a save from the turn before you took the last capital and got the defeat screen?
