5. Bazooko's Circus YU TOOB
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1999)

4. Pale Man YU TOOB
Laberinto del Faun (2006)

3. Trip to Hell YU TOOB
What Dreams May Come (1998)

2. "My God. Its full of stars" YU TOOB

1. The Boat Ride YU TOOB
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964)

I would have put more but I couldn't find the appropriate scenes on youtube. Just endless videos of the scenes I wanted but with some loser's favorite Green Day or Enya song playing in the background in a pathetic attempt to feel or look "artistic."

What, no Apocalypse Now?

Oh jeez, I almost forgot about Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Indeed! Can't forget about Waking Life either....

Here's another great one, not exactly trippy in the sense of the other ones posted, but just as bizarre to me: Bodas de Sangra, a spanish-made dance film from the play of Lorca of the same name...

"My God. It's full of stars!" > Boat ride.

mmm...how about The Cell? Bad script, bad acting (ugh, Jennie from the Block, please stay away from movies), but crazy arse special effects. Take a sample!

Wow. Just... wow. Sex scene with Alien FTW!

I wish I could say that that was the worst of the movie, but there's so much more that is so much mnore disturbing. Hell, we could do a whole thread just on Cronenburg...hell, just take a look at the 'the fly', or eXistenZ (sorry I couldn't get a better clip for that one)

The last half of Blade was pretty trippy. But then again I was extremely sleep deprived at the time.

I'm told Logan's Run is another one of those movies that is much better if you've recently consumed some mind-altering substances.

How could I have been so idiotic as to have forgotten:

2.5 Zatoichi Dance scene!

That whole Zatoichi series is awesome, but I held a "WTH!?" cloud over my head throughout that whole scene.

I held another one over this scene (U-TOOBE) also.
Caution: Subtitles aren't in English...so I'd have to find one.

There is at least one more of that type of music-following-the-scene type scenes there. Somebody was feeling creative.

So what's all this for, anyhow? Pick up a dimebag this afternoon and looking for some movies for tonight? ;)

Just curiosity, what do you find trippy/bizarre about it?
