There used to be a CFC region, but it died a long, slow death as people got bored of it. I just created a new nation a couple of weeks ago.

Edit: Actually, it appears that Civfanatica is alive and kicking:http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=super_empI thought it had died as I was searching for 'civfanatics' before. (I found it again from Emp Napoleans link)

I never chose an option that said 'give us a break' or 'more money in our pockets'.

I chose any option that would give the government more money. Also, one issue came up with an option that I raise teh taxes to 100%.

Hmm I don't seem to get "raise taxes" ones that often, and when I do, and I click it, it only goes up by like 3%, and on the next issue it's back down again!

What happened to me was that after my taxes had continuosly risen, I got an issue where teh people wanted to lower teh high taxes, and one option was to raise taxes to 100%

You should try getting a 0% tax rate instead!
