Building an Army

After I get my great leader, how do I build an army with him? I have went back to town, and clicked build army, but somehow always get lost? any tips, or short walk throughs for building armies? Help please, I am save at great leasder appearing, and am awaiting to go back and get started again I am playing as the persians Thanks to any replies

Take your great leader into a city that you control, press the create leader button at the bottom of the screen. Then move other good units into the same city and click the upload button, these units will then join the army. After you have added 3 or 4 units you are ready to send your army into the battlefield.

'Create army button' you mean, I suppose. You cannot add more than 3 units to your army until you've build the pentagon.

By the way, be careful what units you put into your army: you can't get them out of it...

The short-cut key to add units to an army is "L".

Bear in mind that you need to have 4 cities for every army you create. I had the same problem and that was the reason.

So THAT'S what that setting is for! I thought I just needed 4 cities period! (Not that I can get any Leaders with less than 30 cities and 3 eras under my belt...)
