For Byzantium, if you want to win domination, you need to turn religious victory off or you'll accidentally win religious first.

Terracotta Army requires a flat Grassland or Plains next to an Encampment, and AI is usually bad about finding a good tile requirement for things. Zeus only require next to an Encampment.

Number of cities lost when entering dramatic dark age is percentage of your total number of cities

In Dramatic Ages - Cities with least friendly (your own) loyalty pressure are the ones lost. Generally on the periphery.

The cities lost are those with the least friendly loyalty pressure. So usually those on the outskirts

So you could turtle and maybe use very high pressure from golden ages to absorb cities?

I really want to try this mode.

That "you've caused grievances to another civilization" message on denouncements is still making me want to quit with a facepalm (the game or in that case the stream) each time I see it.

It really should be civ-specific, not tiers-generic, I mean someone should denounce you because you've caused grievances to them (by attacking an allied/friend for example) but not because you've caused "an (undetermined level) of grievances" to someone else.

It doesn't say grassland or plains, I think that means you can have a tundra/desert SoZ. Terracotta cannot do that.

Flipped cities go directly to Eleanor if she has highest pressure after original owner

Dang, that's a pretty ludicrous buff to Eleanor in this mode.

Yeah, if you can time it to move into a golden age when your neighbours go dark, you could probably double your empire in one turn.

Tervanna (Tarwanna) and Noviodunum (Nowiodunon) are Celtic cities.
