I noticed that when playing the Roman Empire that the Skirmisher has the wrong icon/button. And instead looks like the Mali UU icon/button (which is also called a skirmisher in vanilla civ).

Note: if you have any trouble with the game after this you might try deleting the cache but I don't know if that would be necessary or if one of these fixes required an update to the cache version which I overlooked. This update contains some critical debugs and I'm trying to get it in just in time before bedtime here but it tested to run fine on my system without deleting the cache so it may be ok without having to.

  • Debugged Unlimited Exception tag: this was tough to realize was actually problematic as it did work the FIRST time you loaded the game after a deleted cache but there were caching process omissions that made it so that if you reloaded the game the units that should've remained limited would've suddenly become UNlimited again for the rest of the life of that game - meaning those Warlords were still getting overwhelming. Sorry for not figuring this out and fixing it a LONG time ago. (This affects the Unlimited National Units game option and should bring some intended balances back to that option.)

  • Debugged the Capture mechanism - resistance and capture values cannot functionally give a value beneath 0 for a unit though may total less than 0 so that they still have those negative values to overcome to catch backup to a positive factor. (Ex: -10 from civics and +10 from a promo will mean a 0 still. -10 from civics and no promo will still return a 0 amount but giving it that +10 from the promo will still only counter the negative that's actually calculated on the unit.)
  • Era limits for merging are now based on the core group volume of the unit on size matters. Maximum Merge steps AND split steps are 1 step away from the core group volume definition on the unit PER era now. This is still simpler than it will eventually become with specific military techs unlocking the ability to further split and merge but for now it's a much improved solution.
  • Fix (again) for EXTRA strength calculations into unit totals on Size Matters (such as a +1 strength from a promo - was 100 times more than it should've been thanks to a redundancy.)
  • Fix for Ranged Bombard values on the Frigate.

Update 7348
Added a master unit document in CSV format in hopes that this would be the most generic file format we can all use regardless of what kind of spreadsheet program we may have access to. Hoping the team will all try to open it and save it as a test run at least to make sure that CSV works well to suit our needs. Let me know if any of you can't. The file is located in the Caveman2Cosmos main folder.

No it's Sourceforge that has the problem. They have been having problems since heartbleed appeared.

And I don't think StrategyOnly wants these type of posts in this thread either.

    • Fixed the broken AI logic for remembering backstabs.
    • Changed Flexible Difficulty to use scores & std deviation rather than rank.
    • Discourage AI from requesting "aid" from human unless they are friends.
  • Various small code fixes and optimizations.

- Rename the sound file for Tattoos tech to tattoos.mp3.
- New buildings Sheep herd and Enclosure - Walrus.
- Subdued Muflon can now build sheep herd. subdued walrus can build Walrus Enclosure.
