C2C SVN Changelog

7773 Changed MY new handicap system and added in World Info changes also, both of these were drastically changed. thx to Bluegenie
I am still testing this and unless making some way to reduce maintenance costs in the very early game for at least 2 cities the Prehistory will be literally unplayable as the first city will have 2-5:gold: in maintenance, and the second city for AI (or player) will cripple totally.
So, use with caution unless removing maintenance costs in Anarchism comletely and reducing it to near 0 change in Tribalism, Chiefdom, Strong Man, Primitive, and Obedience.

Current games with lots of cities will have a huge change in costs in maintenances too, so beware, and consider waiting until a new game to use these changes.

Cheers

Edit. DH notices that the initial cost is even higher, 28:gold: on Noble for first city. Have to revert the arbitrary increases from early civics for the maintenances to work. Those were there to hinder early growth, which is no longer necessary.

7774 changed replacement line added to the New Handicap System?/

TB

can you check to make sure i did the WorldInfos "replacement" line correct? Or do i need to change it also to Handicap_SO??

7775 had to delete the above commit, somehow it was leaking through to normal core system (see TB's post below) DUH!!:blush::blush:

You put the replacement ID in correctly but without the second step:
Code:
			<ReplacementCondition>
				<Has>
					<GOMType>GOM_OPTION</GOMType>
					<ID>GAMEOPTION_LS612_TRAITS</ID>
				</Has>
			</ReplacementCondition>
The replacement will always be on and will not be conditionally reliant on the game option. Checking your commit, this second step was left out on all these. So yes it would've been affecting all games.

Possibly nothing you did. This file may not be 100% setup properly to utilize the replacement condition tag. I'll have to look into it further later. It looks like you used the tag properly at least. And glancing through I don't see any odd formatting.

If AIAndy can catch a moment to look into the tag usage on that object class it would probably be a lot more effective than anything I can do.

Have you re-uploaded the new animal icons?.

  • Fixes a bug with TLO's tags we're using for some of the Astrological promos
  • Some unit tweaks as discussed on the forum in the units thread

This would be a suitable stopping point on the dll end for packaging up the final v35 I think. Since AIAndy's brought up some reasons not to update to a 35 civ dll as the core I'll just keep them as is and continue supporting the 35 civ dll (though I won't be able to work with minis from it unless I haven't recompiled anything since the mini is shared.)

And we can wait on getting rid of DH's file (though if he really really wants it out at this point then we'll take the opportunity to move to a 35 civ dll core and I just need to know so I can set that up properly here. Wouldn't take long but would have to be done much later tonight or tomorrow morning.)

The alternative is to allow Specialists to be removed from te game just like Koshling did for all the others. :D.

But aren't Specialist a good part of the game now??

If you try and remove a specialist oops that is special unit you break save games just like happens when you remove a terrain feature from base BtS but no longer from C2C.

7782
again new buttons for all animals
I hope everything will be ok now

Nope same thing you broke the SVN again???? alberts2, let me know how you delete older version from the SVN,like this ??

I send these files to SO, maybe he can try to update these freaking buttons after everything be normal again.

Anyway thanks Alberts and sorry for inconvenience.

I can try to tool around with that and see if I can come up with a solution but that IS Koshling's specialty. We'll see.

Again though, I'm quite happy to move to the 35 civ dll after what I saw yesterday in a game with more than 30 - rather overkill.
