Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Gishmibop, I say we wait. I'll try to get the turn played and sent ASAP, hoping you can play one more before you take off.
Well I doubt it'll reach me in time now so I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, I hope to meet you again afterwards to resume and climax this good PBEM we have going.
we gave as christmas gifts, to commonwealth 1 engineer in mankwari and 1 zero in bukhet
Well ... pherhaps we will give a little more in his turn.
For china:
we gave 2 zero in naning and in exchange china gave us some nice gifts like:
1 enemy interceptor down, 1 infantary pekin, 1 mg taiyuan, 1 vet in fantary tayuan
G'Day to all, I'm back from my vacations and has resumed the game.
I'm still a big sluggish and forgot to make a couple of important moves on hindsight (hopefully Yama won't benefit from it) but here's the damages I did this month (I've decided to highlight it with emoticons to continue the festive spirit ):
Manokwari
+ Manokwari is liberated from the Japanese
Sibu
+ 1 Japanese Battleship sunk
+ 1 vet infantry killed, giving our ANZAC promotion to elite status
- 1 regular ANZAC lost in the conflic
Bangkok
- 1 regular ANZAC lost to a 1hp conscript infantry
Kudat
+ 1 Elite marine sent 6 feet under
+ 1 vet infantry sent to join the dead marine
Medium tank vs flamethrower dude near Hankow: tank takes 3 hp damage after inflicting 2 hp and retreats
Veteran Medium tank kills Nipponese infantry in woods near Nanning and gets promoted.
Medium Tank army kills Nipponese infantry on hills near Nanning (taking 4 hp damage) and captures artillery.
The Japanese have still not understood that Hankow belongs to the noble Chinese people. As a consequence, our artillery bombed their Combat Engineer and Nipponese infantry, we then sent medium tanks to destroy both units. The CE was defending an artillery unit which has been added to the Chinese inventory.
Near Canton, a medium tank destroyed a combat engineer after artillery bombardment.
Near Foochow: an infantry unit captured a lone worker who was sent to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed by the Japanese.
Only 1 Nipponese infantry deceased to report from us this month.
The prescence of an army on the doorsteps of Rangoon forced us to withdrawl our valuable artillery and bombard it to 7hp. It was a gallant move by the Japanese generals to force our hand, 2 commonwealth medium tank divisions from the south had to be launched in advance to cut off reinforcements to the Japanese army. We hope to trap and destroy this pesky beast before it has time to rampage through the Indian countryside.
China has only a few battles to announce. Tanks killed units near Hanoi (I think they were machineguns or marines, but am not sure which). At any rate, the Japanese inventory is down by two units. The vps are Japan: 21965; Allies: 18035
