@ Greybeard, question about our cease fire & units violating borders - if a unit outside a border is caught by border expansion and is then inside enemy borders, i feel there should be a one turn grace period for the other player to move the unit out, what do you think?

I agree. I have a couple of units just outside your border who are just monitoring the cease fire. If they get caught in a border expansion they would be withdrawn. The same would apply to any units you have near my border.

I've been watching the Power Graph. I figure Persia is using the cease fire to crank out immortals. But then again I'm using the cease fire for plans of my own.

Oh, that power graph must be all mixed up, if anything my power should be decreasing, yeah i have had to disband units to help my economy, i dont think i have any immortals left at all, only a handful of archers and a couple spears, maybe a horse. And I am stricty building peaceful improvements. Am no threat at all, and you guys should just ignore me the rest of the game.

OK this is Turn 10 the last turn of no AI alliances, so no jumping the guns people you must wait one more turn!!!

Mind you at present there is hardly any reason to sign up the AI's as peace abounds all around

Now why would we need alliances with the AI civs? We're all peace loving civs here. The only one who has drawn blood yet are the Romans, and that was an accident. A break down in communication.

btw, Greybeard, i think as long as cease fire is in effect we should not be permitted to form alliances w/ AI & the 2 turn rule should remain for the aliances as well as attacks, what think you?

@ Persia: I was hoping you wouldn't notice that little loophole in our agreement. But since you brought it up I agree. Our 2 turn agreement will apply to military alliances as well as to the resumption of hostilities.

Rome is in no way worried about Persia, though she has an eye to the sources of information that tell her exactly what Persia is up to


If only we could plant spies in this scenario I would be able to see how troops youve been building whilst this cease fire is in force
