So I was linked this (I'd never browse TP for myself) and I thought I'd share. I'm not going to go as far as to say "Faux news is so rasist!!11" but I do have to wonder what editorial standards let that comment slip on to air.

Is this something that shouldn't be unexpected when a station has to fill content 24/7 or is it an oversight symptomatic of dodgy standards?

I don't think this is an editorial slip up. I think that station did that on purpose, one, to bully and two, most importantly, to bring up lingering PC issues of race etc., to create a story, rather than report about one.

The "magic negro" references are making fun of a pro-Obama columnist who used that term. Still inappropriate since they're supposed to be a news source and not FARK.
