I just started a Custom Civ and choose my enemies.

I am the Mali. I choose to have a world with Shaka, Stalin, Monty, Napoleon, Julius, Alexander, and Genghis.

Its funny on the diplomacy, everyone is extremely testy with me and I haven't really done anything. Monty is my neighbor and has started a war with me (go figure).

Weird.

I just started a game exactly like that exept I'm Bismark, and Boudica replaces Julius and Stalin.

I played on a fractual map, prince, and was able to build all the wonders so far. (I'm in midieval era now).

The only war so far is Montezuma vs Napoleon, and they've been at it since ancient times.

And I've had small skirmishes with Boudica and Ghengis.

I made sure I did this on an archipelago map to have water protect me. Monty is on my continent though. Everyone is fighting with everyone now, I am in the industrial age. Shaka is my only friend and I am always bribing him to watch my back. (he stupidly went to war with Alexander and Napoleon for Scientific Method) I have about 3 of them warring with me now.

I haven't played a game like that, but my hunch is that it would turn into a fairly easy game by the middle ages - You'll probably out tech everyone and have a huge military advantage... a gap which will only get wider as you continue. That'll make warring, even against warmongers, pretty simple. Granted, different things my happen, but this is my initial impression.

Although... Alexander, Nepolean, Stalin... I don't recall how they are on the tech side of things. Maybe they'll be able to provide some late game competition. Still seems to me that if you tech properly, you should be able to come away with a more advanced military without too much trouble, and an easy domination victory.

I don't get alexander much anymore, but on vanilla he was always testy and really good at teching for the most part. Sounds like a fun game though!

Your a complete... hmmm....

I might spend sometime thinking of this one...
