I just got Call of Duty and so far I'm loving it. There's just so much to this game but the main thing is you are not a one man army.

So does anyone who has the game agree that it's better than MOHAA?

Well it should be better than MOHAA since it came out after MOHAA and had more time to be better ;)

BTW, I loved the demo. I WANT MORE!

It got good reveiws, so I would guess that many others would agree that it is better. I haven't played it yet myself though (I got Return of the King instead)

Its alot better than MOHAA, by far.

I have only played the demo of COD, but so far I'd say it is better in some ways but not others.

Pros- you have more control over what your game-person can do. You can lie prone, you can lean left or right, you can aim down the sights of your rifle (this slows you down if you are on the move), if a shell lands nearby you are stunned for a while (your movement and vison is impaired). YOu seem to be more limited in terms of what you can carry all at once. In these respects it seems more realistic than MOHAA.

Cons. The enemy seems more cartoonish than in MOHAAA. They tend to swarm over walls directly in front of you- they don't seem to act with as much intelligence as those in MOHAA. This really gets on my nerves with the demo. There is a scene where you defend a church with 2 or 3 MG s- the Germans just basically try to swarm up to the chruch in a frontal assualt not making good use of cover. They have mortors and tank support- but they choose to attack by a frontal assualt straight into the MG's. I guess it lives up to the claim of being "intense" but I'm hoping for soem improvments because if they fixed this aspect it could be a really great game.

Yeah the ai does some pretty stupid things sometimes but try defending Pegasus bridge in the second British mission. It's really tough.

I will admit though that it did take me longer to finish missions on MOHAA than on CoD but I still think that the atmosphere in CoD is more realistic. Your squad mates in CoD actually help you out a lot better than they did in MOHAA. Of course MOHAA was more of a one man show, CoD is not as bad in this respect.

I hear it's only like 7-10hours of game play, so a total waste of my money. That and I really prefer smart AI to "over run them with vast numbers of men" approach

Is MOH Rising Sun coming out for the PC? I only see PS2 adds.

MOH Rising Sun is coming out for pc but I don't know when. I read about it in PCGamer a month or so back. From what I hear though the PS2 version isn't that great.
