Camera centering

Hi,

can someone tell me, if there is an option or a workaround to disable the camera auto-centering on units?
My problem is in late game, when i have stealth bombers and raining hell on my enemies.
To clarify, after i issue an order with my bomber, if I wait a bit, the camera will not switch to the next bomber, but will auto cycle to the next one, so i can make another order without camera centering on the next bomber.
This is fine, but to slow! If I have my bombers and my targets in my field of view, i can issue orders faster by manually clicking on each bomber and issue orders. No need to wait for the XP/HP animation to finish.
The problem is when my targets are not in my FOV. I can either wait for xp/hp animation to finish and not get auto-centered or use auto cycle which will center on units and give me seasickness.
I am also using the enhanced user interface, so my bombers are to the left of my screen.
But it really defeats the purpose to have a list, if every time i click on a bomber the camera centers on the unit, and then i have to move the cursor back to the target. For every bomber!

I'm not sure there is a perfect solution for this. What you could try is go into Options > Interface Options and untick the 'Auto Cycle Units' box (if you haven't already done so).
I find the auto-cycling a bit annoying as it randomly flips from unit to unit criss-cross around the map, while often you'll want to concentrate on an area. Unticking that box gives you more control in general. You can choose a unit on the map and the camera will not centre on it.
That wouldn't give you control over units that are completely off-screen, I don't know if that's the worst part of your problem - also I have to admit it's years ago that I last played with bombers, and I'm unfamiliar with the enhanced UI mod, so my answer could be off, but it could still be helpful to point you to this setting.
