Campaigning and Nominations for the 2nd Term, October 2007

Well, our first term is just about up, and I think we can all agree it was a bit of a mixed bag. I think the worst of our troubles are over, and we can all benefit from a fresh start.

The constitution says that we ought to get a move on on the campaigning for our next PM, since their term will start in a week.

After a lot of thinking about it, I will be running for RE-ELECTION

Yes, I will run for PM, on a more moderate platform than what my party is. I will be open to compromise, and good ideas. (So, basically, I won't support full government takeovers of industries, but I won't support eating poor people either.)

Also, I plan on diversifying the cabinet, as a cabinet runs best when we have a variety of ideas from all sorts of places.

Just in case downtown needs a nomination, I'll nominate downtown, or something. I forget how these tricky laws go.

He is running for this election, the PLP have long term views, and hope to regain some ground since the last election.

I didn't read the other thread, and i think we should scrap this election and have a totally new sign up thread which i can make if people want with totally new parties and platforms.
