can anyone recommend an earth map?

I tried looking through the download database and just found too many to choose from. Can anyone make a recommendation for what earth maps are the best to check out?

That kind of depends on your preference; what sort of map do you like to play?

If you like huge maps - and have a machine that can handle them - Genghis Kai's Giant Erath Map mod is a great choice.

Yeah I can support the Giant Earth Map. That said it is the biggest earth map around ... Europe alone is bigger than a standard sized map. Be prepared for crazy times.
