Can anyone send me a WORKING copy of mscvprt.lib?

Hi guys,

really want to make a start on modifying the game code, but Microsoft stupidly failed to put mscvprt.lib in with the rest of the program .

I have tried to convert mscvprt.dll into a def file and-from there-into a lib file, but it just doesn't seem to work (I use the 'Run' function in the Windows Start Bar-is that the right way to do it??)
I just think it would be a HECK of a lot easier if some Good Samaritan out there was able to provide me with a working copy of the file . So, can anyone PLEASE help me?

Hi Kael, its me again. I downloaded and unzipped the file into the Lib folder of Microsoft Visual C++, but I still get an error message back when I go 'Build---->Build' in Code::Blocks . Can you explain to me where I might be going wrong?? This is getting VERY frustrating!!!!

EDIT: Sorry, I am SUCH an idiot . The file I am missing is MSVCRT.lib I am getting the following error message-if this helps:

fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file MSVCRT.lib

Do you have a copy of this file that I can have Kael? Thank you in advance

I linked all three in this post: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=166933. It seems the orgional source was gone so I moved them to civfantics.

Im living proof that you dont have to be very bright to make mods.
