Can I autosave to the steam cloud?

So I'm playing Vox Populi, and I've noticed I'm not able to load late-game save files unless I save them to the steam cloud. This is a bit of a problem because every once in a while my game crashes, so I need to reload from an autosave, which by default don't store on the steam cloud. Is there any way to make autosaves use the steam cloud by default?

So I solved this problem by copying my autosave from the normal saves folder to Steam/userdata/<long number>/8930/remote. And renamed it to match the format of the saves in the folder, and everything works well.
