Can I change the increase of GPs from future eras?

For example, a G Writer from Medieval Era has a base cost of 120 but if all G Writers from Classical are recruted on Classical era, the first G Writer from Medieval will cost 155. It's ok.
However, on my last game I have a G Scientist costing ~1685 and then the next one costs ~855 (the first one was 2 eras earlier and the second just 1). And it isn't ok because someone spend 800 more points than the others...
If someone knows a way to change how it works please let me know.

Propbably, making it don't increase so much from 1 to 2 eras is enough but my main suggestion to change is something like: in the example, all future G Writers will cost +12 (+10% of base cost) and accumulates if it happens again. Maybe it's hard to do.
