Is there a simple way to combine all the Units, Technologies, Improvements, Wonders. and Governments from all of the Conquests into the main epic game?

I would REALLY like to be able to play this.

Hey Yuurei, fellow living in japaner! Don't bother trying to put all the conquests together. Even for an experienced modders it would take days of work cause we can only import one set of rules not all of them, unless that patch changed it. I haven't used the editor since before the patch. It's much easier and more fun to choose one conquest you like and just put in all the extra units, wonders, nations, etc you want. That's what I do anyways.

Oh yeah, the editor is like I don't know. You have to double click on the bic file of one of the conquests to open it (civIII/conquests/conquests/... ) then choose any of the white, red and black file thingys to click on and it'll turn into the editor.

What I want is a basic epic game but with ALL the new Conquests extras added to it.

Maybe someone has already made such a mod, but I haven't found a fully integrated one yet. The closest I have found is Rising Sun 2.X for C3C, but even that doesn't have everything.

Seems to me that would be really superflous and redundant in regards to Wonders and city improvements. Example: how would you stick the Holy Roman Empire wonder into an epic game? It would completely unbalance things.

I suppose someone could craft a tech tree including all of the wonders, but that would be a logistical nightmare to compile and not very entertaining to play, IMO. Do you really want to start epic games having to research animal husbandry, woodworking, etc?

To each his own, just be careful what you wish for. :)

I've started work on bringing some of the cool things from C3C into a modpack. It's going so-so at present. However I'd focus on a few elements rather than everything. Now if only Firaxis'd put up a complete resources.pcx and city improvements file (like they did for the units) it'd be a lot easier.

I'll post my notes when I've finished.

I believe someone has already done this. If I might suggest look under the creation forums. You may find somethings to help you out.

:) Well it's hard but not impossible.
1. put all resources into a resource.pcx and the shadow file too.
[the icons are already in main conquest directories]
2. map out graphically how you want the combined tech trees to look [mesopotamia techs all may go in ancient] . you may delete some that seem reduntant. i suggest write them out on little squares of paper and arange them out then after testing paste arrows on blank techs [available in creation area]
3. edit civolpedia file and pediocons. cut and paste
4. select a big world map and place initial units/cities/etc.
5. edit rules so 1. most of desired civs are there along with units.

from stone age to modern age - or at least mesopotamia to wwii.
the units32.pcx and the icons are in conquest\art directory. combining would be easier than completely from scratch.

the only trouble is age of discovery vs middle ages: not defender of the faith or the catholic/protest/islamic thing but for game mechanics: you can choose treasure making blgs of AoD or Holy relics of MA, if you allowboth them the relics willl be worth a single treasure shipment. no difference for game. and suggestion the holy pelics behidden in world then return to victory point location [capitols+jerusalem- if you control it.
