Can leader traits be made to effect improvement build times?

I find that the Industrous trait is just a little too strong. I have halved the production bonus on wonder building but want to give Industrious workers a 50% speed bonus on building Mines, Workshops and Oil Wells to compensate. I was hoping I could do it on the CivBuildInfos file but I can't seem to work it out. Does anyone have the solution?

That would require some modest SDK moding, the tag that gives Hagia Sopia its effect could be moved to leader Traits but it would affect all improvments built. Doing specific improvment faster would be more complex but would still be possible.

Mmmm... still a little phased by SDK modding. Perhaps a more longwinded alternative would be to create a unique worker unit with a specific buildinfo.xml for the specific trait?

It is also possible to do grant the worker increased speed for all improvements without SDK modding, I believe. Make a tech that gives the worker speed boost, and give it to industrial civs as an additional starting tech (in CivilizationInfos). Then disable the tech for all non-industrial civs (again in CivilizationInfos).
