Can you enhance your religion with a free GP

I got the free GP from building HS. I can't find the option to enhance my religion. Can you only enhance with a 'natural' faith generated GP?

I have enhanced mine with the free GP from the Mayas 'Long Count' UA, so yes, you can enhance your religion with inorganic GPs.
I dont remeber exactly what the icon looks like, but clicking on it will allow you to enhance your religion. It's in the lower, left hand corner [obviously].

You can, but only once. I recommend reading through the Gods and Kings Introductory Guide to get a handle on the new features in G&K. It helped me immensely.

Yeah that makes Mayan long count or Liberty GP very powerful. Can get better beliefs and save early faith.

So far, my Great Prophets have all come into existence in a tile adjacent to my founding city. Was this just luck or the way it works?
