CAn you put units into groups?

I saw a screenshot where that you cna put units into gruops or something.They had a another box on top of the normal box is that the gruoping box or somthing?What's that box for.

they are just in the boat....
to bring people in, simply load them or move them into the boat....
remember that a boat can only carry a limited number....
bigger boat carry more....

also ship can do bombard.....
(battleships can bombard a target 2 tiles away, but they don't carry units)

units in the boat don't effect the boat,
but will sink with the boat if it is sunk...

note that only marine can attack a ground unit from a boat.
