Man people are going crazy up here. In my town people are still driving around honking their horns and waving the flag. It's four hours later! They shut down the busiest street in Toronto. I had to drive somewhere during the game. The streets were EMPTY. I was driving for about fifteen minutes and I saw two cars, one was a cop(I live in a city of 150,000)

We watched it and then we grabbed a few cars and a bunch of big flags and went roaring around town with the horn locked down for half an hour Then we went and bought little mini-flags from the dollar store and drove around sticking them in everyone's front lawn Today was a good day!

Good question. And if losing to Canada could bring this much joy to Canadians, I say it was worth it. Good job Canadians. Great effort.

I have to totally agree with you... let the stars play.. on the big ice surface the true players will shine. we should starta petition... i live in Calgary (home of the flames).. i hate that team GO OILERS!!!!.. i'll start a petition up here!

Taking your title, Wow, people are huge into football here in Wisconsin. In Green Bay, Wisconsin (population less than 150,000 but fairly substantial), there is NO ONE IN THE WHOLE TOWN when the Packers (American football) play there, except for the stadium. That said, few people in my area of the state are into hockey (including me). But after watching the US-Russia and US-Canada games, I'm sure many people have been converted to Hockeyists (including me, a little). Soon, our ranks of hockey-playing citizens will grow, and our talent shall increase! Next time, Canada, watch out for the USA!

You obviously didn't read the NAFTA documents carefully, they clearly stated that if we won the game WE get America.
