Cannot install Beyond the Sword

Beware, this is a long post! Anyway.....first off, my computer broke, and I had to send it to a repair guy (who uninstalled everything on it). So when I finally got it back, I installed Civ IV, which worked fine. Then I tried to install Beyond the Sword, only to find that I had lost Disc 2 (after I put in Disc 1), so I had no choice but to cancel the installation. A couple weeks later I found disc 2, so I put in disc 1.....and instead of the installation screen popping up, that box that has "play" and "exit" showed up. And of course when I clicked play nothing happened, because it wasn't installed. Why the heck is this happening?

This may sound too obvious but have you tried inserting the second disc - it may continue the instalation. If this fails you could always try dumping all BtS files from your computer and start the instalation over. Hope this helps

I tried all of that, and it didn't work.

remove the file listed below - restart the computer and it *should* work.

(note: InstallShield Installation Information is a hidden directory so you need to configure windows explorer to show hidden files).
