Cannot play video

something happened to my computer, it plays video, but shows no picture, I can only hear sound, but no visual stuff.
I notice QuickTime still plays alrite, so is mpg files, but wmv doesn't work.
how can I fix this?

are you sure that it's all wmv and not just one specific or a few? maybe you haven't got all needed codecs installed?

GSpot is a cool tool that checks what codec is needed and tells you if you already have it installed.
