Cannot run saved file

Good Evening,

I have recently developed an issue that I cannot seem to work around. I cannot run any saved file. I get a "Program requested a Runtime shutdown of this program" no matter what saved file it is..... Even the autosaves.

I had steam go through and check for corrupt files. Still does it...

Anyone seen this before?

This error is associated with running mods. If you search this forum for the phrase runtime error, you'll get lots of hits. You might want to try the workaround mentioned in this thread:

I think I have a workaround. If I start a new game with the same mods, then load the first game from within the new game, it does not crash.

Another possibility is mentioned here.

Well one thing is odd, if I go to the menu, the Load link is gone. I have to go all the way out to the main menu to get to the load game. There is just an empty spot there now.

See this thread, for an explanation of why that's happening. I'm not sure how that affects your situation.
