cannot see resources on my tiles - looked everywhere for answer!!!

Hi all, I looked absolutely everywhere for an answer and I cant seem to find it. The problem is that I cannot see my resources on my tiles, making it very difficult to play.

My computer runs fine, it Civ 5 has worked fine (before I reinstalled my computer) on the highest settings

Already tried reinstalling 2x, run with lower settings, dx 9 and dx10&11.

Has anyone seen this b4?

just the usual food (apples), gold coins and hammer symbols on my tiles

I think you want to see what are called the yield icons. To do so, press the Y key to toggle this option on/off.
