Cant interface with C2C v30

Hi,

I have downloaded V30 and I can start a game but the game interface - menu's and actions are not visible. I can move the unit and move around the landscape but nothing else. I have C2C v17 that I use and it is still working.

That's a new one on me. I have no idea what could be going on there. Maybe someone else will but I figured I'd post to let you know I'll be considering it and will let you know if I think of something that could possibly cause that.

Has the interface been minimized accidently?

Missing the UI like that usually means that something has gone wrong with the python. I'd delete your current version and reinstall v30 again.

If it isn't the accidental turning of of the UI (via ctrl-I or alt-I or whatever it is), then I suggest editing the Caveman2Cosmos.ini file to make sure that the NoCustomAssets setting is set to 1. This might fix it, especially if you have installed BUG (or anything else) in CustomAssets.

BTW: It really ought to come set up this way already when you install it. The odds of anything in CustomAssets being compatible with C2C are rather low.
