Cant seem to win bigger than duel??

Recently got my first emperor win with Isabel domination win. But I can only seem to win on duel at monarch or above. Any ideas on what game components I am getting stuck on? Thx

possibly all of them, since duel is ridiculously easy
to be less arsch, why don't you try the monarch or emperor cookbook?

Do you rush?

If yes- then it's ridiculously easy and try moving down several levels.
If no- try moving down 1 or 2 levels.

I did move back down to monarch and was able to squeeze out a culture victory with gandhi.

Is there a good program for posting screenshots?? I would like to get more indepth advice with my openings etc

The more opponents, the more the AI trades techs. That could possibly be part of the problem; the AI's research bonuses multiply with the number of opponents, and you need to be at the top of your trading game to come out ahead on higher difficulties.
